NFL Week 1 Thoughts

The Bills and Raiders might as well be the same team. Two teams that always find a way to lose. (On a side note, Mike and Mike are so bad they make Joe Buck sound like Pat Summerall.)

Nobody team spends more money and gets less in return than the Redskins. Bill Cowher's
phone should be ringing any moment now.

The Panthers might call Vinny Testaverde to come out of retirement again they way their QBs are playing. John Fox is officially on the hot seat.

Speaking of coaches on the hot seat, Jack Del Rio needs to win in 2009 or there'll be a new coach in Jacksonville.

Hey Miami, how's that Wildcat offense working for ya?

The Browns have bigger issues than some silly QB controversy. How about finding a defensive line that can stop the run?

Mark Sanchez looked the real deal for the Jets. Either that or the Texans are just shit.

Four picks for Jay Cutler? And Urlacher's out for the season? It's never too soon to start looking forward to the 2010 Draft BearsFan.

How lucky were the Broncos to win that game against the Bengals? A tipped ball that leads to a TD? Shit, Josh McDaniels ought to play the lottery with those kind of odds.

The Arizona Cardinals are right back to being the Arizona Cardinals.

Drew Brees may have a record-breaking season, but the Saints defense will keep them from becoming a major contender.

The Cowboys may have won big, but they weren't even tested. The Bucs are complete rebuilding mode right now.

The Eagles may have gotten some insurance with signing of QB Jeff Garcia, but they're going to need Donovan McNabb healthy if they're to win.
