UFC 100 Thoughts

UFC 100 might have been the biggest Pay-Per-View in the history of Mixed Martial Arts, but wasn't the best.

Now don't get me wrong, I thought it was a good show and if I had paid $44.95 to watch it, I wouldn't have been disappointed.

Brock Lesnar's dominant performance (as well as his post-fight speech) against Franr Mir in will make him a force to reckoned with and a big-money draw for years to come. The guy who beats him will instantly become a star. His next contender will likely be Antonio Nogueira or Randy Couture.

Georges St-Pierre's dominant (but boring) match against Thiago Alves proved that nobody in the 170 weight class can beat him. It's only a matter of time before he squares off against Anderson Silva.

Michael Bisping getting KO'ed by Dan Henderson was best thing to ever happened to him.

I'm not sure whether or not I agree that Yoshihiro Akiyama won the decision against Alan Belcher.

Fitch v. Thiago was what it was. Boring.
